The Strikewater Kenya Project at Giben’s Blessed Academy is a collaborative initiative between the Joshua Kimilu Foundation, the Smachs Foundation, and Strikewater. Together, we are working to meet real needs and bring lasting impact to the community.
Gibbons Blessed Academy is home to approximately 1,500 students, including 189 orphans. For many, the school is more than a place of learning, it is a refuge, a place of hope, and a foundation for a brighter future. This project seeks to build on that foundation by providing students and the surrounding community with free access to clean, filtered water.
Our intent is not only to meet the immediate need for safe water, but also to empower the community through WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) education. By teaching healthy practices and providing critical resources, we aim to lift families from cycles of poverty and create opportunities for long-term transformation.
The Strikewater Kenya Project at The Springer Well at Giben’s Blessed Academy represents more than clean water infrastructure. It is about the living water of faith in Jesus in action, dignity, health, and opportunity. By serving both the students of Giben’s Blessed Academy and the broader community, we are committed to bringing life-changing resources that make an everlasting difference in Kenya.
